Racing Rules

  • Chat: Race & Qualifying: Pace car lights out - No chatting & absolutely no flaming.

  • Qualifying: Once qualifying is complete there will be no resetting the server for late arriving drivers.

  • Race: There will be absolutely no restarts for Saturday's main event.  During Friday's warm up event, up to 2 restarts will be allowed if there is an incident involving 2 or more cars within the first 5 laps of green after the start of the race.

  • Blocking is allowed but if you block don't whine about it if you find yourself in the grass or sliding up into the outside wall.

  • Spins and wrecks: Drivers involved in a spin or wreck are required to stay where they are and wait until it's clear to proceed!

  • Self Spins: 1st Time - No foul but it is recommended that the driver pit and make adjustments to his car.  2nd Time - Driver must pit and turn on "Stability" in options.   3rd Time - Driver must park it for the night.

  • Damaged or off pace cars causing a hazard must pit within 2 laps.  If on a restart and your car is slow or off the pace you may request other drivers pass high.  If your car is so far off pace that you become a hazard, you may be asked to park it.

  • Retiring from the race due to damage: It is OK to retire from the track due to your car having too much damage to continue but it would be nice that retired drivers stay in the game until the checkers fly to help administrators with replay reviews and other admin duties.

  • Yellow Flag: Caution! - FIELD IS FROZEN, NO RACING BACK TO THE LINE (unless there are 10 laps or less to go).

  • Lucky Dog: 1st car that is not on the lead lap, and is not involved in the incident that brought out the caution when the yellow flag flies, gets the Lucky Dog.   If you are awarded the Lucky Dog, drive through pit road the second time by speeding as you enter or exit to get the End Of Longest Line (EOLL) penalty.  Line up at the end of the longest line before the restart and an admin will give you your lap back at the restart.

  • Pit Road: Entering you must stay in the outside lanes.  Try not to drive through other drivers pit boxes.  If no one is behind you it is OK to drive lower lanes or through pit stalls if vacant.

  • Flaming: Absolutely NO FLAMING will be tolerated!  If you can't say it in church, you can't say it here.

  • Most of all, have fun racing and try to keep it clean and green!  This is fund raiser event, not a points battle!
